The Bank of India ATM PIN generating service is now available online via Mobile Banking. You do not need to visit the bank or ATM if you are a BOI customer and wish to generate/change/reset your ATM/Debit card PIN. Simply open the Mobile Banking app and enter a new PIN for your Debit card whenever you want.
You can now manage your ATM/debit card using the BOI Mobile Banking app. Debit card blocking, on/off functionality, pin generation, ATM limit, and so on are all available through mobile banking.
There are varied ways to generate the ATM PIN from the Bank of India, and they are-
1) Bank of India ATM PIN Generation through the ATM
2) Bank of India ATM PIN generate by SMS
3) Bank of India ATM PIN generate by mobile - Customer car
4) Bank of India ATM PIN generate online through Internet Banking
Here is the process you need in order to generate the Bank of India ATM PIN-
Step 1: You will have to go to the nearest Bank of India ATM and insert the debit card.
Step 2: Choose the option PIN Generation.
Step 3: You would be required to enter your 11-digit account number and then click on the confirm option.
Step 4: You would then have to enter the registered phone number and then press the confirm option.
Step 5: Then the screen will show you the 'Green PIN, and then shortly, it will be delivered to your registered phone number.
Step 6: You will then have to press on confirm, and you will see another message. The Green PIN generation needs to be successful, and you would get the same on your phone number.
Step 7: You would get a message on the phone number with an OTP or green.
Step 8: In 2 days, you will be asked to visit any Bank of India ATM and then select the Banking > PIN change, and then you will get an OTP on your registered phone number when the ATM asks you to enter the Bank of India ATM PIN. You will then have to change the ATM PIN.
Your account holders would also give you the option to change the Green PIN by sending an SMS from your registered phone number-
Step 1: You will then have to send an SMS by using the registered phone number. It would be such as - PIN ABCD EFGH.
Step 2: Here - ABCD stands for the last four digits of the Bank of India ATM card, while EFGH means the last four digits of the Bank of India account number.
Step 3: Once the SMS has been sent, you will get an OTP sent to the registered phone number. The OTP would be only valid for two days and then need to be used to generate a debit card PIN by visiting the nearest Bank of India ATMs.
A client could also generate an ATM PIN by calling the Bank of India customer support. The steps that you will have to follow are-
Step 1: Utilizing the registered phone number, you will have to call the Bank of India customer care number.
Step 2: Choose the preferred language and follow the instructions and choose the ATM and prepaid card services choice.
Step 3: Choose the option to generate Green PIN.
Step 4: You would be required to enter the debit card number and enter it on confirmation.
Step 5: You would be required to enter the account number that is linked to the debit card, and then you will have to enter the same to confirm.
Step 6: Once you have confirmed all of the details, you will get an SMS with the OTP through your registered phone number that will be valid for two days, where you can visit the closest Bank of India ATM to generate the PIN.
Here are the steps that you will have to follow when you want to generate the PIN through Internet Banking of Bank of India-
Step 1: You will have to log in to your internet banking with the needed credentials.
Step 2: From the main menu of that, you will have to choose the option of card PIN.
Step 3: Now, choose the option to generate a PIN and click on the debit card option.
Step 4: Choose the debit card you want to set the PIN to and enter your 16-digit number with the CVV.
Step 5: You will then be asked to enter the grid numbers printed at the back of the card and then generate the OTP.
Step 6: You will then be asked to enter the four-digit OTP you received through the registered phone and submit it.
Step 7: Type the new PIN; you will get the confirmation of PIN generation on the display of internet banking, on the registered phone number, and your registered email ID.
The clients are also provided with an option to change the Bank of India ATM PIN; they could change the PIN by multiple methods like visiting the closest ATM, sending a message, phoning customer care, or through internet banking.
The steps needed to change the Bank of India ATM PIN are quite similar to the process of generating the Bank of India ATM PIN.
