Bank of India Lunch Time

Lunch time at Bank of India branches in metro/urban areas is usually half an hour. It runs from 2:30 to 3:00 pm. The team rotates their lunch breaks so that there is always someone at the counter to assist customers.

The crew at the rural branches eats at the same time. However, counters are typically closed from 2:30 to 3:00 pm. There are somehow no fixed hours, Bank of India opening time, or Bank of India closing time for lunch in the Bank of India.

NEFT and RTGS Timings in Bank of India

NEFT is the short form for National Electronic Funds Transfer. Using the RBI's NEFT service, funds are sent to the credit account with the other participating Bank. RTGS is an abbreviation for Real Time Gross Settlement.

The RTGS technology allows funds to be transferred from one Bank's account to another in "real-time." The RTGS system is the fastest interbank money transfer option accessible in India via secure banking channels.

Currently, NEFT transactions can be completed at any time; however, credits to the beneficiary account must be made on the same day or the following working day, depending on the time of payment and the beneficiary bank.

RTGS timings are currently 08:00 am - 4:30 pm on regular days, including Saturdays, excluding the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
