How to Register for the Punjab National Bank Net Banking?

Here is the step-by-step procedure to register for the net banking facilities of Punjab National Bank:

  • Step 1: Visit the Punjab National Bank internet banking portal (https://www.pnbindia.in/retail-Internet-banking.html)
  • Step 2: Select “Internet Banking Login”. You will then be redirected to another page where you will be prompted for the User ID.
  • Step 3: Click on the option that says, new user.
  • Step 4: Now, you will have to enter the account number or the PAN Card Number and select the registration type.
  • Step 5: Now, click on the ‘verify’ option after entering the details.
  • Step 6: Enter the type of facility.  An OTP will be sent to the registered phone number. Enter the OTP on the screen for verification.
  • Step 7: Now, you will have to enter the debit card number and the required grid numbers. Click on continue, once done.
  • Step 8: You will be prompted to set the login pin and password. Enter them both and process.
  • Step 9: Read and accept all of the terms and conditions - and finally, click on the ‘complete registration’ button.
  • Step 10: Once the registration is successful, the user will receive a pop-up stating 'successfully registered.'

PNB Net Banking Login Process for Retail Users

Given below are the steps to log in to Punjab National Bank net banking portal:

  • Go to the PNB Retail Internet Banking portal 
  • (https://www.pnbindia.in/retail-Internet-banking.html).
  • Select the ‘Internet Login’ option. 
  • The user will be asked to enter their User ID/Customer ID on the next page. Click on continue.
  • Enter the login password and click the 'Login' button. Accept all the terms and conditions.
  • Enter the OTP that is sent to the registered mobile number. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • The user will be asked to select 7 security questions out of the available security questions. 
  • Click on the 'Register' option after completion.
  • In the next step, the user will be asked to select an image and write a relevant phrase before proceeding to the 'Submit' button for login.

How to Activate and Login to PNB Corporate Net Banking?

PNB Corporate users can activate their net banking services through the bank branch, where they must submit a PNB-1212 form. They will be provided with a corporate ID/administrator ID and password, which they can use to log in to PNB corporate net banking.

Here are the steps that must be followed for the login process:

  • Go to PNB net banking login page and select the 'Corporate Internet Login' option.
  • Enter your Corporate ID and admin user ID to continue.

Login to PNB Corporate Net Banking

  • Enter the password to log in. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number during the first-time login process.
  • Enter the OTP. The user will be asked to set up security questions.
  • Select the security questions and click on ‘Submit’. The user will be logged in to the PNB Corporate Net Banking portal.

How to Reset PNB Internet Banking Password?

Here is the step-by-step guide to rest your PNB online banking password:

  • First, go to the PNB net banking portal. Enter the PNB User ID.
  • Click on ‘Continue’ and select the ‘Forgot Password’ option.
  • Enter the user ID again and submit. The user will receive an OTP on their registered phone number. 
  • Enter the OTP and continue to proceed further.
  • On the next page, enter all the necessary information, such as bank account number, debit card number and  ATM Pin. Click on ‘Continue’.
  • Now, the user will be prompted to reset their net banking password. Create a new password and click on ‘continue’ after confirming it.

A pop-up will be displayed after successful completion.

How to Transfer Money through PNB Netbanking?

Customers who have successfully activated their PNB online banking services can easily transfer funds to self-account or other PNB accounts. They can even transfer funds to other bank accounts through net banking services. 

Here are the steps to transfer funds through Punjab National Bank Net Banking:

To Other PNB Accounts

  • Open and log in to the PNB internet banking portal.
  • Select 'Transactions'. To transfer funds to another PNB account, click the 'Within PNB' option.
  • Now, select the beneficiary account for fund transfer. If the beneficiary account is not added, select the option ‘Add Beneficiary’ and enter the beneficiary account number, IFSC code and name of the beneficiary.
  • Enter the amount that needs to be transferred. By default, the transaction date will be set to the current date. You can re-enter the transaction date manually for future transactions.
  • Click on 'Continue' and enter the PNB net banking transaction password.
  • Now click on the 'Submit' button to complete your transaction.

To Other Bank Accounts

PNB account holders can transfer funds to other bank accounts through IMPS, NEFT or RTGS services. PNB corporate banking users, however, can only make funds transfers via RTGS and NEFT. 

Here are the steps that can be followed:

  • Go to the PNB internet banking portal.
  • Login as ‘Retail User login’ or ‘Corporate User Login’.
  • Select ‘NEFT/RTGS/IMPS’ under the 'Transactions' option. 
  • Select the beneficiary account for fund transfer. If the beneficiary account is not added, select ‘Add Beneficiary.’ 
  • Enter the beneficiary account number, IFSC code and name of the beneficiary.
  • Enter the amount and date of transaction.
  • Click on 'Continue' and enter the PNB net banking transaction password.
  • Now click on the 'Submit' button to complete your transaction.

All necessary banking services can now be availed anywhere and anytime through the PNB m-banking app. One can use the PNB m-banking services by downloading the mobile application and registering for it.

How to Activate PNB Mobile Banking Services?

Here is the step-by-step process on how to register for the Punjab National Bank mobile banking services:

Step 1: Download and install the PNB m-banking app.

Step 2: Open the application and click the ‘new user’ option to proceed.

Step 3: Enter the bank account number, registration number, and your preferred mode of operation. Click on ‘Continue’ after completion.

Step 4: Enter the OTP that has been generated on the registered phone number.

Step 5: Now, enter the 16-digit debit card number and ATM pin. Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed further.

Step 6: The user will be asked to create a security PIN or MPIN for security reasons. Create a MPIN and confirm it for verification.

Step 7: After this, a pop-up message will be displayed saying the registration process has been completed.
