Process to Block Bank of India ATM Card

To avoid fraudulent transactions and financial loss, the Bank of India ATM card should be stopped if it is stolen or misplaced. If the account holder's Bank of India ATM Card is lost or stolen, it is critical to notify it and ensure that the Card is frozen to prevent fraudulent and unauthorized transactions on the Card.

Methods for Bank of India ATM Block

There are several ways to Block a Bank of India ATM card, and all of them are mentioned below-

1) Bank of India Debit Card Block through Internet Banking

If you have access to the Bank of India's internet banking service, you can disable your BOI ATM card by following the procedures below.

Step 1: Enter your login and password into (https://www.bankofindia.co.in/).

Step 2: Go to "ATM Card Services > Block ATM Card."

Step 3: Select the needed action for your Card, such as "Block/Unblock Card."

Step 4: When you select this option, a new screen appears with a drop-down list of all your cards associated with the account. You can block the Card by selecting it and pressing the "BLOCK" button.

Step 5: Select SMS OTP as the means of authentication and click "Confirm."

Step 6: After successfully barring your ATM or Debit Card, a success message with Ticket No. It will be displayed. Make a note of this Ticket No. For future use.

2) Bank of India ATM Block Number by Toll Free Number

Account holders can call - to block their Bank of India debit card. That is - 18004251112 (toll-free)

For additional assistance, the account holder should use the registered mobile number and speak with a customer service representative. The account holder must provide the customer service representative with the debit card number or account number as requested.

The customer can also hotlist the ATM card by dialling the landline number from their registered mobile number - the Bank of India debit card block number is 02240429123.

3) Bank of India ATM Card Block by Visiting the Bank

The Bank of India ATM card can be disabled by personally visiting the bank branch and completing the appropriate form. During Bank of India working hours, the customer must visit the bank and fill out the paperwork to add the Bank of India ATM card to the hotlist.

4) Bank of India ATM Card Block through Email

Account holders can also send an email to the Bank of India requesting that their ATM card be added to a hotlist or blocked. Account holders can contact by email - [email protected]

The customer must send an email with all of the account information. He or she must state unequivocally that the ATM or debit card must be blocked immediately.

5) Bank of India ATM Card Block through Mobile Banking

Here are the steps that you need to follow to block your ATM Card of Bank of India through the Mobile banking application-

Step 1: On your smartphone, launch the BOI Mobile Banking App.

Step 2: On the dashboard, navigate to the "Debit Card" area.

Step 3: Tap the block/unblock button on the "Manage Card" screen to block ATM services.
