Bank of India NEFT Charges

NEFT is the short form for National Electronic Funds Transfer. Using the RBI's NEFT service, funds are sent to the credit account with the other participating bank.

NEFT services are offered to all Bank of India account holders. This is a fund transfer method that is mainly utilized in conjunction with the internet banking services offered. If you cannot access your net banking account or have any problems with online NEFT transfers, you can make the transfer offline at your local Bank of India branch.

Eligibility to Make NEFT Transfers

Individuals, businesses, and corporations with accounts at a bank branch can use NEFT to transfer payments. Even those without a bank account (walk-in clients) can deposit cash at NEFT-enabled branches with instructions to transfer funds via NEFT.

Such cash remittances, however, shall be limited to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per transaction. Such clients must provide complete information, such as their full address, phone number, and so on. Thus, NEFT allows originators or remitters to initiate funds transfer transactions even if they do not have a bank account.

Bank of India NEFT Charges

In the event of an inward settlement, your branch will not charge you any fees. Furthermore, the bank does not charge any fees for NEFT transactions initiated online through internet banking and/or mobile banking.

The following are the normal NEFT charges for outward settlements-

When you complete the Bank of India NEFT form, you authorize the bank to automatically deduct the charges charged to your account. These costs will be added to each transaction you complete in a single day.

BOI NEFT Timings

You must ensure that you submit your Bank of India NEFT form within the branch's NEFT timings. This is also subject to the branch's working hours.

According to the Reserve Bank of India, fund transfer requests in NEFT are settled on a half-hourly basis. There are 48 half-hour settlement batches that begin at 00:30 hours and terminate at 00:00 hours.

The system will be operational every day of the year, including holidays. Even during stated bank holidays, you will be able to conduct NEFT transactions. Furthermore, NEFT transfers are possible on Sunday and Saturday.

How to Make a BOI NEFT Offline Transaction?

If you need to make an offline NEFT transaction at a branch, you must fill out a Bank of India NEFT Form and submit it to the branch.

The information on the NEFT form is physically entered into the system by a branch official. Following that, the NEFT transaction proceeds in the same manner as it would online.

Required Details of NEFT from Bank of India

The Bank of India NEFT Form is available for download. Alternatively, you can review the information needed to complete the Bank of India NEFT Form below-

  • Branch Name
  • Date
  • Remitter Details (Title of the account, Type of account, and Account number)
  • Details of the beneficiary (name, bank, branch, IFSC Code, account number, kind of account, type of account, and amount)
  • Phone number of the remitter
  • Sign of the remitter

The funds will be transferred from your account to the beneficiary's account. After you submit the form, the transferred amount will be reflected in the beneficiary account after clearing.
