The documents required on Groww are PAN Card and one of the following:
Account opening = Rs 0
Annual maintenance charge (AMC) = Rs 0
Brokerage = Rs 20 or 0.05% per order (whichever is lower)
Regulatory & statutory charges, penalties, and GST is extra and depends on the type of order.

A demat account is mandatory only for stock market transactions, not for mutual fund investments (including SIP).
