The documents required on Groww are PAN Card and one of the following:
Account opening = Rs 0
Annual maintenance charge (AMC) = Rs 0
Brokerage = Rs 20 or 0.05% per order (whichever is lower)

A demat account is mandatory only for stock market transactions, not for mutual fund investments (including SIP).
The stocks will be delivered at the end of the 2nd day after the transaction (T+2 day). This does not include days when the market is closed.
