HDFC mPassbook

The HDFC mPassbook is a digital form of the passbook for customers to use. This mPassbook can be downloaded through the mobile banking application of HDFC Bank and can be used online and offline.

• View the Savings/Current/Deposits account information.
• After synchronizing the passbook, there is no need for Internet access.
• There is no need to visit the branch to update the physical passbook.
• Account statements will be sent to your registered email address.
• To find a transaction, search and filter.
• PIN and pattern login are used for security.

There is no need to download any other apps because HDFC mPassbook is integrated into the HDFC Bank MobileBanking App.

However, you must have the most recent version of the HDFC Bank Mobile Banking App loaded on your mobile phone. A link to mPassbook can be found in the pre-login area. Start using HDFC mPassbook after completing a one-time registration.

HDFC mPassbook is available on the Mobile Banking application; simply complete the one-time registration process to gain access to your mPassbook.

Step 1: Open the HDFC Mobile Banking app, and then tap on the mPassbook icon. You must now finish the registration process.
Step 2: To authenticate your account, you can use a debit card or your Net Banking UserID and PIN. Choose either a Debit Card or customer ID/PIN.
Step 3: Set a PIN or a Pattern to log in to mPassbook.

Your account has been successfully registered for the mPassbook service. You can now access mPassbook and see your account activities.

The procedure to log in to the HDFC bank mPassbook is as follows-

Step 1: Reopen mPassbook and tap on login, then enter your PIN or Pattern password.
Step 2: After logging in, you can check all of your savings/current and deposit/RD account information. You may view the entire transaction history.

The following are the advantages of the HDFC mPassbook-

• There is no need to visit an HDFC bank office or use Phone Banking to change your passbook or account statement.
• The tagging tool allows you to personalize each transaction.
• PIN or pattern locks provide security.
• To log in to the application you do not need to remember your customer ID or password.
• With mPassbook's Interactive statement function, you can better categorize transactions and track your income and expenses.
• After the initial download and registration, there is no need for Internet access. Only updating account transactions require an Internet connection.

There is no fee. All HDFC Bank customers can use the HDFC Bank mPassbook service for free.
