The far-grown population of Bihar reached over 12 crores over the past few years, with over 8.5 million registered under the regional transport authority. At a fast-growing pace, the transport department has incorporated 39 RTOs in Bihar to ensure the safety, regulations, and laws to follow that are related to all of the transport-associated activities.
The basic goal of the RTO Bihar stands to serve the rules and laws of the Motor Vehicles Act. These RTOs function offline with 39 physical offices and online through the https://state.bihar.gov.in/transport/CitizenHome.html.
Bihar RTO’s major responsibility is to carry out the laws outlined in the Motor Vehicles Act 1988. The principal functions of this state’s RTO are to issue driving licenses, and vehicle permits, regulate pollution checks, collect taxes, enforce road transport rules, etc.

Bihar vehicle registration is divided into two types: Temporary and Permanent.
It is only valid for a limited time. The registration can be obtained from the vehicle's dealer in this case. Provide the required documents to the dealer, and they will issue you a temporary number via point registration. It will then be submitted to the RTO.
