Vehicle Registration in TS (Telangana State)

When it comes to vehicle registration, most individuals will want to do it at their auto dealer's office so that the procedure is completed before they take the vehicle home. However, some people prefer to do things themselves through the TS RTO registration to ensure everything is done correctly.

A vehicle can be registered offline by visiting the nearest RTO. To complete the registration process online, visit https://www.transport.telangana.gov.in/html/registration.html.

Required Documents for the Vehicle Registration

Visit the nearest RTO, ask for Form 20, and fill it out with all the required data. You must also include the following documents:

  • The provisional registration document issued by your vehicle dealer
  • Address verification
  • Payment of the registration costs must be documented
  • The car's sale certificate
  • PUC authorisation
  • Photocopy your PAN card
  • Coloured passport-size photographs
  • If you purchased your vehicle through a bank loan, you must fill out Form 34.

An official will check to see if everything is in order after you have finished the form and attached the papers.

When the verification is completed and the necessary fee payments have been made, you will be granted a smart card that could be used as a registration certificate. The smart card will be delivered to your address within a few days.
