  12. Block SBI ATM Card - Just message "BLOCK <space> <last four digits of the card number>" to 567676.

Registration Process SBI SMS banking

The account holder has to follow a one-time registration procedure for SBI SMS banking, and they will need to send an SMS in the following manner: 'REG<space>Account Number.' to the number: 09223488888

The account holder needs to send these messages as mentioned in the format above from the registered phone number for that specific SBI account number. 

The account holder needs to get a confirmation message that says successfully registered for SMS Banking.

Once the account holder has successfully been registered for SMS banking with SBI, then he or she can start using the service. The account holder can also ensure that the number is registered with the bank for the account. If not the account - the holder needs to visit the SBI branch of the same.
