By giving the debit card, the Indian Overseas Bank has provided one of the best services to its consumers. The debit card enables the consumer to withdraw cash whenever they desire. They only need to travel to the nearest ATM to withdraw money from their savings account. Customers must first create an account with Indian Overseas Bank in order to obtain a debit card.
Customers will be required to provide a mobile number when opening their savings account, which will be used afterwards to alter the PIN on their debit card and receive other regular notifications.
Here are the methods to generate the ATM PIN for Indian Overseas Bank-
The customer can generate the ATM Card PIN through an IOB ATM, and the process is as follows-
Step 1: You will have to go to the IOB ATM and insert the card into the vestibule.
Step 2: You will now have to choose the PIN Generation option.
Step 3: You will have to provide your 11-digit account number and then click on confirm.
Step 4: You will have to enter the registered phone number and then click on confirm.
Step 5: You will be displayed with the green PIN, and it will shortly be delivered to the registered mobile number.
Step 6: You will have to click on confirm to see another notification, then your green PIN generation will be successful, and you will get the same on your phone number.
Step 7: You will now get an OTP or the green PIN.
Step 8: Within two days, you will be asked to visit any IOB ATM and choose Banking > PIN Change. Now, the ATM will ask you to enter your PIN.
Here are the steps that you need to follow in order to generate the ATM PIN-
Step 1: Sign in to the net banking portal with the right credentials that are required.
Step 2: From the main menu, choose the option of Card PIN.
Step 3: Click on the generate PIN for the debit card section.
Step 4: Choose the debit card and enter the 16-digit account with the CVV code.
Step 5: Enter the grid number that has been printed on the back of the debit card.
Step 6: Enter the four-digit OTP that you got on the registered phone number and then submit it.
Step 7: Now, type the newer PIN, and you will get a confirmation PIN on the display of internet banking on your number and email.
Here are the steps that you would have to follow in order to generate your ATM PIN through SMS-
Step 1: You will have to send an SMS utilizing your registered phone number in the format of ABCD EFGH.
Step 2: Here, ABCD would mean the last four digits of the Indian Overseas Bank ATM card, and EFGH is the last four digits of the Indian Overseas Bank account number.
Step 3: Once the SMS has been sent to you, you will get an OTP to the registered phone number.
Step 4: The OTP would be valid only for two days, and you need to generate the PIN from the closest ATM.
Here is the process to follow in the case of customer support ATM PIN generation-
Step 1: You will have to use the registered phone number to call the IOB Customer support services.
Step 2: Choose the preferred language and then follow the instructions.
Step 3: Choose the ATM and prepaid card services option.
Step 4: Choose the option to generate a green PIN.
Step 5: You would be required to enter the debit card number and confirm the same.
Step 6: You would be asked to enter the account number that is linked to the debit card and then confirm.
Step 7: Once you have confirmed all of the details, you will get an SMS with the OTP in the registered number that will be valid for two days.
Step 8: During this, you can visit the closest IOB ATM to generate the debit card PIN.
