Methods for the Block IOB ATM Card

There are various ways for the Indian Overseas Bank ATM card block, and they are-

1) IOB Debit Card Block through Internet Banking

You can also block or suspend your card through the Indian Overseas Bank online portal. To suspend the debit card immediately, go to iobnet.co.in and enter some information, such as your registered cellphone number, SB/CDCC Account Number, and the phrase seen in the image.

After submitting the form, you will be sent an OTP (One Time Pin) to your registered mobile number. To finish the procedure of suspending your card, enter this OTP in the designated space on the next screen.

2) IOB Bank ATM Card Block through Email

The IOB bank offers a simple email service for blocking your debit card. Simply send an email to [email protected] from your registered email address. Remember to include any essential account information, as well as the card number that needs to be locked. The bank will send you an email confirming the successful blocking of your debit or ATM card.

3) Offline Method to Block the Indian Overseas Bank ATM Card

You can also go to your local IOB branch during business hours to request that your debit card be blocked. You must bring the relevant documents as identification to the bank personnel. Customers can call this toll-free hotline 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to get their debit card banned immediately.

Only your registered cellphone number should be used to make the call. When you dial the number, you will be required to follow a series of IVR instructions. To disable the debit card, carefully follow the instructions and enter the correct number. Once you have requested that your debit card be blocked, the concerned executive will ask you some questions to verify your identification.

Following verification, you will receive a confirmatory SMS on your registered mobile number, and your card will be instantly blocked.
