Patiala stands to be one of the fastest-growing cities in Punjab. It is the 4th largest city in the state, with a growing vehicular population. To cater to this increased number of vehicles, the state government has set up a Regional Transport Office in the city. RTO Patiala has the code PB11 and provides a wide range of services related to vehicle registration, driver license and permits.
Latest Update Beginning June 1, 2024, any eligible person can take the driving test from any private driving training centres instead of the RTOs. However, the application process should be done online via Parivahan website or through the RTO. |
