b) Steps for Axis Debit Card PIN Generation Through Mobile Banking Application

To activate the Axis Bank debit card PIN  through the mobile application, follow the steps given below:

  • Step 1: Install the Axis Bank mobile app.
  • Step 2: Enter the login information.
  • Step 3: Click the "home" button in the upper-left corner.
  • Step 4: Choose "Banking" and click on the "Services" tab.
  • Step 5: Select the "Debit Card" option.
  • Step 6: Choose "Set/Reset PIN" from the menu.

  • Step 2: Select ‘Option 1’ to get information regarding savings accounts.
  • Step 3: For debit card-related services, select ‘Option 4’.
  • Step 4: Now, dial ‘1’ to generate the activation passcode.
  • Step 5: Enter the Axis Bank debit card number, card expiration date, and date of birth. After that, the activation passcode will be sent to the registered number.

How to generate Axis Bank Debit Card PIN Using the Activation Passcode?

To generate an Axis Bank ATM PIN using the activation passcode, the customer should follow these steps:

  • Dial the toll-free numbers of Axis Bank (1860-419-5555/ 1860-500-5555) from the registered mobile number.
  • Select ‘Option 1’ to get information regarding savings accounts and select ‘Option 4’ for debit cards.
  • Select the ‘Create PIN’ option.
  • Dial 2 if you have the activation passcode.
  • Now, enter the debit card number, card expiration date, and date of birth.
  • Create a 4-digit ATM/Debit Card PIN. Enter the PIN again to confirm it. The user will get a  notification from the bank after the PIN has been activated.

Method to Activate Axis Bank Debit Card for International Transactions

One can activate their Axis Bank debit card for international transactions either through internet banking, mobile application or phone banking. 

1) Steps to Enable International Transactions Using Online Banking

Given below are the detailed instructions on how to activate international transactions on the Axis Bank ATM card using internet banking:

  • Log in to the online banking account using the user ID and password.
  • Go to the ‘Services’ option and select ‘Debit Card Services.’
  • Click on the ‘More Services’ option.
  • Choose the ‘International Usage’ option under the ‘Manage Usage’ section.
  • Enable the ‘International Usage’ option and confirm it.

2) Steps to Enable International Transactions through Phone Banking

3) Steps to Enable International Transactions Using Mobile Application
