Axis Bank has made it simple for its customers to disable an ATM or debit card by dialling their Customer Care Number.

The user can dial "+91-22-67987700" from the registered mobile number and follow the on-call instructions to block Axis Bank ATM Card.

Customers of Axis Bank can also use the phone banking feature to block Axis Bank ATM/Debit Card services. It can be done by sending an SMS from the registered mobile number. Given below is the format that needs to be followed:

Text 'BLOCK CARD' to 5676782 or +919717000002  for the Axis Bank debit card block.

Axis Bank also allows customers an option for Axis Bank ATM card block by using the toll-free number of the bank. One can use their registered mobile number and follow the instructions that are provided below:

• Contact Axis Bank customer support at 1860-419-5555 / 1860-500-5555.
• Select ‘ATM/Debit Card Services’ from the list of options.
• Proceed after selecting the ‘Block Card’ option.
• Select ‘Confirm’ to block your ATM Debit Card.
• The card will be blocked immediately, and the user will get a notification regarding the same on their registered mobile number.

You can now Block Axis Bank ATM Card simply by login into your Net Banking account.

• Navigate to the Axis Bank Net Banking Portal https://retail.axisbank.co.in
• Now, either enter your Net Banking Username or Password, enter your Debit Card/ATM Card Number and Pin, or enter your MPIN.
• Now, from the Dashboard, navigate to Accounts and choose the Debit Card option.
• Choose the card number you want to block.
• Now, from the Drop Down Menu, choose your explanation and press the Proceed button.
• Then, enter the NETSECURE Code that was sent to your registered cellphone number. And then click Confirm.
• If you follow all of these instructions correctly, your card will immediately block.
