Carrying the Debt Forward

If the client carries the balance forward to the following statement cycle, the credit card interest rate is applied to the outstanding balance.

Cash Withdrawal

The Axis Bank CC interest rate would be applied from the date the cash is withdrawn until the balance is paid off.

Partial Payment

If the consumer does not pay the whole amount, the interest rate will be applied. In this case, the required interest is the sum of the following amounts-

  • Interest is calculated on the entire amount from the date of the transaction to the date of partial payment.

  • Interest is also calculated on the outstanding amount after the partial payment date until the next statement generation/payment date.
