This scheme was implemented with the goal of facilitating the resolution of any customer complaints regarding bank services. This also makes it easier to satisfy and resolve all client issues.

When you have not received a 'final response within 30 days, you can easily contact the Banking Ombudsman. The Banking Ombudsman Scheme is a low-cost forum where clients can get their complaints resolved. The RBI established the Banking Ombudsman Scheme under Section 35 A of the Banking Regulation Act of 1949.
