Canara Bank cardholders can use their net banking account to block their Canara Bank ATM card. They need to complete the following steps for the Canara Bank atm card block:

Step 1: Go to the Canara Bank website.  

Step 2:  Click on the ‘Login’ option and select the ‘Net Banking’ option. 

Step 3: To log in, account holders must enter their user ID and password and then click the "Sign in" option.

Step 4: After successfully logging in, select the "Request" option.

Step 5: On the next screen, click the "Debit Card Hotlisting" button.

Step 6: To block the Canara Bank ATM Card, select the specific debit card and click the "Hotlist" option.

Step 7: Click on the "Confirm" button.

Step 8: Enter the transaction password and press the "Submit" button.

After entering the transaction password, the bank will accept the request to block the debit card and issue the account holder with a reference number.

One can also block their Canara Bank debit card or ATM card by sending an SMS to the Canara Bank ATM block number. Below are the steps that must be followed:

Step 1: Type a message in this format-  “CAN<space>HOTLISTCD<space>16-digit card number”.

Step 2: Send this message to 5607060 using your registered phone number.

Step 3: You will be notified through an SMS once the Canara Bank ATM Card has been blocked.

Canara Bank customers can also block their lost or stolen ATM cards by visiting the Canara Bank home branch. Below are the steps that should be followed:

• Step 1: Visit the Canara Bank branch.
• Step 2: Inform the bank that you have misplaced your debit or ATM card.
• Step 3: Now, provide them with your 16-digit ATM card number.
• Step 4: Following that, confirm the ownership of the bank account associated with that particular ATM Card. Always carry your Canara Bank Passbook along with your Aadhaar Card or PAN Card as identification proof.
• Step 5: After successful verification, the bank official will process the request for the Canara Bank ATM card block. You will be notified via SMS once the debit card/ATM card has been blocked.
