Revision in Lot Size of Stock F&O Contracts From July 2023 Expiry
The National Stock Exchange, better known as NSE, is set to revise the lot size of Futures and Options (F&O) contracts on 33 stocks with effect from 28th April 2023.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has stipulated that the contract value of all Futures and Options contracts remain between 5-10 Lakhs.
In the periodic review that takes place every 6 months, in case the contract value of the scrip is beyond this range, there will be a downward or upward lot size revision.
Upward Revision in Lot Size of Stock F&O Contracts
Listed below are the 30 securities, the lot size of which will undergo an upward revision from July 2023 and later expiry.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India, the governing body and regulator of the stock market, amend and revise the lot sizes periodically. It initiates so when there is a radical change in the value of a share, resulting in a remarkable divergence with lot values.
