DSP Mutual Fund, a part of the DSP Group, was incorporated in May 1996. The asset management company (AMC) has branches in over 50 cities across 20 states in India.
Besides wealth creation, DSP also offers financial advisory services to its investors. DSP Investment Managers Pvt Ltd. is the AMC, while DSP Trustee Pvt Ltd. acts as the AMC’s trustee. The company’s quarterly AUM stood at Rs.97385.94 crore for the quarter ending March 31st, 2021.
It was functioning as a venture between the DSP Group and Blackrock for a long time. All mutual funds of this AMC were earlier called DSP Blackrock mutual funds. However, the association between the two organisations ended in 2018 and the DSP Group bought Blackrock’s stake.
