JioBlackRock is a 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services (Reliance Group) and BlackRock—the world’s largest provider of investment, advisory and risk management solutions.
In October 2024, SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) granted in-principle approval to Jio Financial Services and BlackRock Financial Management Inc. to act as co-sponsors and establish the mutual fund AMC, “JioBlackRock Mutual Fund”.
On 26 May 2025, SEBI issued its final approval and registration certificate to JioBlackRock Mutual Fund to begin operations.
Following the authorisation, Jio BlackRock rolled out its first New Fund Offers (NFOs) in early July 2025, including the Overnight, Liquid, and Money Market Funds, which together raised around ₹17,800 cr.
