ICICI Bank NEFT Timings

If the user process the ICICI NEFT transfer online, the NEFT service is open 24x7 throughout the year.  If the customer wishes to process the transfer offline, he or she must contact the bank's branch and inquire about the NEFT timings of ICICI Bank.

Eligibility Criteria for ICICI NEFT Transactions

The following are the requirements for using the NEFT services of ICICI Bank:

  • To transfer payments electronically, both the remitter's bank and the beneficiary's bank must be members of the NEFT system.
  • When transferring funds, the remitter must add the beneficiary to its account by supplying all of the recipient's information, such as account number, IFSC code, branch name, and so on.

How to Make ICICI NEFT Transactions?

ICICI Bank customers can make NEFT transfers/transactions in ICICI Bank either through online or offline mode. For the online process, one should have an active online banking account with ICICI Bank. Customers can also make the transfer offline through the ICICI Bank branch.

1) ICICI NEFT Fund Transfer through Online Banking

Here are the steps that need to be followed to transfer funds online using ICICI NEFT services:

  • Step 1: To transfer funds from one ICICI bank account to another, go to the ICICI bank website and sign in to your online banking account.
  • Step 2: Navigate to the 'Payments & Transfer' tab and select the 'Fund Transfer' option.
  • Step 3: Select the 'Other Bank Account' option.
  • Step 4: Select the Beneficiary account to whom the transfer is to be made.
  • Step 5: Enter the additional information, such as the fund amount, Beneficiary name, IFSC Code and Branch name.
  • Step 6: Enter your ATM or debit card information.
  • Step 7: A confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number once the payment has been properly completed.

Please keep in mind that in order to transfer funds to someone else's account, that person must first be added as a Beneficiary to your Internet banking account. If this is the first NEFT transfer to an account holder, the first step is to add that account holder as a beneficiary.

2) ICICI Bank NEFT Transactions through ICICI Bank Branch

People who cannot process NEFT transactions online can obtain the service by visiting an ICICI bank branch that accepts NEFT. The steps for processing NEFT transactions offline are listed below.

  • Step 1: Fill out the ICICI NEFT form, including the beneficiary's name and account number, the IFSC code of the beneficiary's bank branch, and the amount to be sent.
  • Step 2: Submit the form to the bank representative.
  • Step 3: Following verification, the bank official would debit the account and transfer the funds to the beneficiary's account using NEFT.
