National Aluminium Company Limited is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise established on January 7, 1981, under the Government of India. The company's vision is to be a premier integrated player in the global aluminium value chain, with a strategic presence in mining, metals, and energy sectors. A key strength is its raw material security, as it sources the primary input, bauxite ore, from its own captive mines at Panchpatmali in Odisha. It is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling Alumina and Aluminium, operating large-scale facilities in Damanjodi and Angul. To ensure uninterrupted power, the company operates a 1200 MW captive thermal power plant and has also established 198.40 MW of wind power plants across various states. As a significant milestone, its Aluminium Smelter plant achieved its highest ever cast metal production of 4,63,428 metric tonnes in the financial year 2023-24.;
