How to get an RTO Driving License in Mumbai?

After vehicle registration, providing a license is another major service provided by the RTOs of Mumbai. There are two ways an applicant can get an RTO driving license, either through an online method or an offline method. 

a) Offline Process to Apply for a Driving License 

Here are the steps that must be followed to apply for a driving license offline in Mumbai:

  • Step 1: Go to the nearest Regional Transport Office and ask for the driver's license application form.
  • Step 2: Fill out the form with all the needed details.
  • Step 3: Attach the necessary documents with the form and submit it to the Regional Transport Office.
  • Step 4: Book a slot for the driver's test.
  • Step 5: Take the driving test on the scheduled date. The applicant will receive their driving license 2-3 weeks after passing the exam.

b) Online Process to Apply for a Driving License
