How to Apply for Aadhaar for Children Below the Age of 5 The procedure for registering children in Aadhaar differs from that of adults. The types of papers necessary for registering children in Aadhaar are also varied. Here’s how to apply for Aadhaar for children under the age of five: Step 1: Go to an Aadhaar Enrolment Center in your area (You can locate a nearby Enrolment Centre online as well). Step 2: Fill out the Aadhaar Enrolment Form, including your Aadhaar number. Step 3: For registering children under the age of five, either one of the parents must submit Aadhaar data. Step 4: Your child’s photograph will be taken. Step 5: Fill in the address and other demographic information from the parent’s Aadhaar card. Step 6: Submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate/discharge certificate from the hospital. Step 7: The Aadhaar executive will provide you the acknowledgment sheet with your enrolment number. Step 8: Using the enrollment number, you may verify the status of Aadhaar creation. |
How to Apply for Aadhaar for Children Above the Age of 5 You must take the following steps to enroll your child between the ages of 5 and 15 in Aadhaar: Step 1: Apply for Aadhaar for your child at a local Aadhaar Enrolment Centre. Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar Enrolment form with all of the needed information. Step 3: If you do not have a piece of legitimate address evidence for your child, mention your Aadhaar number and information. Step 4: Submit the form, along with any supporting documentation, to the executive. Step 5: The executive will collect your child’s biometric information (10 fingerprints, iris scan, and photograph). Step 6: Following the completion of the procedure, an acknowledgment slip is created. Step 7: The acknowledgment paper includes the enrolment ID, which includes the enrolment number as well as the time and date of the enrolment.
