Here enlisted are all the details about the Aadhar and IRCTC linking with the stepwise procedure.

Understanding IRCTC Link Aadhar

For frequent travellers in India, IRCTC Aadhar linking is a must. Users who link their Aadhaar numbers to IRCTC can book up to 12 tickets each month. However, users can only book six tickets per month if their Aadhaar is not linked to their IRCTC account.

Regular travellers need to link their Aadhaar card to their IRCTC account to book multiple e-tickets in a month. Let's look at how to connect Aadhaar to IRCTC.

How to Link Aadhaar Card with IRCTC Account?

Before booking an online ticket, passenger details must be added to the master list to authenticate the Aadhaar number of a passenger.

To add a passenger to the master list and verify it with Aadhaar, simply follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Access your IRCTC account by entering "user ID and password."

Step 2: Select "Master List" from the drop-down menu in the "My Profile" section.

Step 3: Fill in the blanks with your name, date of birth, gender, berth preference, meal preference, senior citizen concession, and so on.

Step 4: Now, pick "Aadhaar card" under ID Card Type and enter your Aadhaar number in the ID Card Number box.

Step 5: Finally, click the "Submit" button.

Step 6: The passenger's information will be uploaded to Master List. However, the status will reflect "Pending" verification. The status is "Verified" for Aadhaar-verified details.

Step 7: Click on the link provided above the list to verify the status of pending Aadhaar Verification.

Step 8: If Aadhaar verification is not completed, "Not verified" appears in the "Verification Status" column.

Step 9: For all "Not Verified" details, users can change their information and enter their Aadhaar number for verification before clicking "Update."
