Tata Power has been in the headlines for obtaining approval for its upcoming 100 MW battery storage project in Mumbai. This development seems to have propelled it toward 0.96% growth over yesterday’s closing price of 356.80, as it opened at 360.25 today. This comes after a massive recovery yesterday, when the stock initially opened 8.79% lower than the 4th April closing price of 369.50 at 337. However, it went up to 351.75 by midday and then closed at the figure mentioned above, which was 5.87% higher than the opening figures.

After two straight days of opening below the closing price, Tata Power has bucked the trend today in a possible continuation of yesterday’s positive momentum. Let us wait and see whether the trend continues into midday.
