The Indian equity markets are at an interesting place today as investors look forward to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) monetary policy decision later today. This comes after a good recovery on Tuesday, with both the Sensex and Nifty having made good gains—benefiting from good global market sentiment with countries engaging in bilateral talks with the US, which also helped boost investor confidence. Despite this rebound, early indicators point to a potentially subdued opening as markets brace for the RBI’s announcement.
