SBI Mutual Fund’s NHIT stake sale and its new Project Finance Unit may well keep it in the forefront of trading surges in the times to come.

21st March, 2025 / 12:30 PM

State Bank of India shares sustained their momentum, touching 751.70 by midday, which is higher than the opening price of 749.95. There have been some peaks and troughs for the stock, as it plunged to 747.83 before recovering to its current levels. There are strong expectations of the stock closing higher, buoyed by more positive trading sessions to come.

This sustained growth comes on the heels of SBI Mutual Fund selling its NHIT stake for 815 crore and several other measures taken by the bank including the setting up of a Project Finance Unit for new-age sectors like AI and others. Experts are bullish about the potential of the stock to beat inflationary movements and end up stronger at closing.
