These scams even appear across social media platforms like Facebook (Meta) and Instagram, often promoting fake investment schemes or impersonating Groww. These ads and messages often promise “guaranteed returns,” “daily profits,” or access to “premium tips” – all of which are completely fake.
Please note, Groww never sends investment advice, guaranteed return schemes, or premium stock tips on WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS. Any ad or post offering “sure-shot profits,” “exclusive Groww research tips,” or “premium investment groups” using Groww’s name is completely fake.
What Do These Scam Messages and Ads Look Like?
These scam messages and ads may:
- Claim you can earn ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 daily through stock trading.
- Offer access to a “Groww Research Team” or “Groww Premium Telegram Group”.
- Use fake screenshots or fake user testimonials to show high returns.
- Ask you to click on suspicious links or join groups.
- Ask for personal details or money upfront.

— With a shortened, suspicious link
These are fraudulent attempts to mislead you and misuse Groww’s brand. Do not engage with these messages or individuals.
What You Should Know?
- Groww does not offer guaranteed returns: The stock market involves risk. Any platform or individual promising daily or fixed profits is misleading you.
- Groww doesn’t run Telegram or WhatsApp tip groups or ads: If you come across such group or social media ads, report and exit immediately.
- Groww never asks for money outside of the app or website: Always transact through official platforms: www.groww.in or the Groww app.
