Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Limited is engaged in producing lead, lead alloys, and poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) additives. The principal activities of the Company include converting lead scrapes of various forms into lead metal and alloys. It carries out smelting of lead battery scrap to produce secondary lead metal, which is transformed into pure lead and specific lead alloys. It also manufactures zinc metal and zinc oxide. Its products include Lead; Lead Alloys, which includes Calcium Alloys and Antimony Alloys; Master Alloys; Tin Alloys; Babbit Alloys, and Zinc Oxide, which includes white Seal and Pure Grade. Its products are supplied to battery manufacturers, chemical manufacturers and PVC extruded and molded products. Its product lead is used for radiation shielding, ammunitions, roofing sheets, extruded products, solders in the electronic, plumbing, and automotive industry. It exports to its products to Asian region, such as South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and to Middle East.;
