Truhome Finance, backed by global private equity firm Warburg Pincus has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), aiming to raise ₹3,000 crore through its initial public offering (IPO). The proposed issue is structured as a 100 % book-built offer comprising an equal mix of fresh issue proceeds and an offer for sale by existing shareholders, including major promoter Mango Crest Investment Ltd, each aggregating up to ₹1,500 crore.
Truhome Finance, formerly known as Shriram Housing Finance, is an affordable housing finance company focused on providing home loans, loans against property and construction finance, primarily catering to low- and middle-income customers across India.

The Company proposes to utilise the net proceeds towards augmenting our capital base to meet the Company’s future capital requirements including onward lending, arising out of the growth of the company’s business, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on capital adequacy prescribed by the RBI from time to time.
