
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited announced its audited financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2026, on May 26, 2026, with consolidated Q4 net profit surging 45% year-on-year to ₹10,820 crore. The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share for FY26.
On a consolidated basis, ONGC Ltd.'s revenue from operations for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, came in at ₹1,73,805 crore, up 3.6% compared to ₹1,67,749 crore in Q4 FY25. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹1,77,173 crore against ₹1,70,784 crore a year ago, a rise of about 3.7% year-on-year.
Profit after tax attributable to owners of the company came in at ₹10,820 crore, a strong 45.6% jump over ₹7,431 crore in the year-ago quarter. Basic earnings per share for the quarter came in at ₹8.60, compared to ₹5.91 in Q4 FY25.
For the full year FY26, consolidated revenue from operations was broadly flat at ₹6,62,247 crore compared to ₹6,63,261 crore in FY25, with lower crude prices largely offsetting volume gains. PAT attributable to owners, however, surged 14.3% to ₹41,424 crore from ₹36,226 crore in FY25, making it a record year for consolidated shareholder earnings. Full-year EPS stood at ₹32.93 against ₹28.80 in FY25.
The Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share, representing 20% of the ₹5 face value, for the Financial Year 2025-26, subject to shareholders' approval.
Refining & Marketing remained the growth engine of the ONGC Group, with Q4 FY26 revenue rising 4.2% year-on-year to ₹1,52,255 crore and full-year revenue growing 1.4% to ₹5,84,346 crore, even as the segment's profitability improvement was far more pronounced, with full-year segment profit more than doubling to ₹28,664 crore from ₹12,401 crore in FY25.
The domestic E&P segment reported a 2.3% year-on-year increase in Q4 revenue to ₹25,341 crore. Full-year E&P revenue saw a 3.4% decline to ₹92,406 crore due to weaker crude prices throughout the period. Offshore E&P contributed a full-year profit of ₹34,008 crore, while onshore operations added ₹5,955 crore to the segment's robust performance.
Petrochemicals Q4 revenue posted an 18.8% jump to ₹4,425 crore, though the segment ended FY26 with a full-year loss of ₹382 crore.
The group's international operations underperformed, with Q4 revenue dropping 22% to ₹2,364 crore. For the full year, the segment experienced a substantial 35% decline, with revenue falling to ₹8,443 crore from the ₹12,995 crore recorded in FY25.
