On Day 3, the Tata Capital IPO saw a subscription of 0.86 times, according to BSE data as of October 8, 2025, at 10:48 AM. The IPO was subscribed 0.79 times in the Retail Individual Investors (RII) category, 0.95 times in the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category, 0.96 times in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) category, and 221 times in the Employees category.
The Tata Capital IPO is a book-building issue of ₹15,511.87 crore. The issue is a combination of fresh issue of 21.00 crore shares aggregating to ₹6,846.00 crores and offer for sale of 26.58 crore shares aggregating to ₹8,665.87 crores. The price band is set between ₹310 and ₹326 per share. The minimum lot size for an application is 46, and the minimum amount required for a retail investor is ₹14,260 (46 shares) based on the lower price band.

The company intends to use the IPO proceeds to augment the company’s Tier 1 capital base, thereby meeting its future capital requirements, including onward lending.
