
SBI Funds Management Limited has announced the price band for its much-awaited initial public offering (IPO) at ₹545 to ₹574 per equity share. The public issue, which is expected to raise around ₹11,692.91 crore, will open for subscription on July 14, 2026. The company will begin the anchor investor bidding process a day earlier on July 13, while investors can subscribe to the issue until July 16.
Following the closure of the issue, the basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on July 17. Shares allotted to investors are likely to be credited on July 20, with the company's equity shares tentatively scheduled to make their market debut on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE on July 21, 2026.

The proposed IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to 20.37 crore equity shares by the existing shareholders of SBI Funds Management.
Under the offer,
As the issue does not include a fresh issue of shares, SBI Funds Management will not receive any funds from the IPO. The proceeds from the offering will instead go to the existing shareholders selling their stake through the OFS route.
Established in 1987, SBI Funds Management Limited is the investment manager of SBI Mutual Fund and one of India's largest asset management companies. The company holds the top position in India based on quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM), with QAAUM of ₹12,49,970 crore.
SBI Funds Management operates as a joint venture between State Bank of India (SBI) and Amundi Asset Management. The company offers a wide range of investment solutions, including equity mutual funds, debt funds, hybrid funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and passive investment products, catering to retail investors, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and institutional clients.
As of December 31, 2025, SBI Funds Management accounted for 15.4% of the mutual fund industry's total assets under management (AUM), strengthening its position as one of India's leading asset management companies.
