
The SBI Funds Management IPO has entered its last day of subscription today, ie., 16 July 2026, witnessing strong investor participation over the last two days.
As of 07:00 P.M. on Day 2, i.e., 15 July 20226, the IPO was subscribed 2.77 times. Investors are closely tracking subscription trends across the retail, non-institutional investor (NII), and qualified institutional buyer (QIB) categories ahead of the issue's closure.
The ₹9,812.91 crore public issue opened for subscription on 14 July 2026, and will remain open until 16 July 2026. The allotment basis is expected to be finalised on 17 July 2026, while shares are likely to be credited to successful bidders' demat accounts on 20 July 2026. The SBI Funds Management IPO is tentatively scheduled to list on the NSE and BSE on 21 July 2026.

The SBI Funds Management IPO comprises a complete Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to 17.09 crore equity shares by the ccompany'sexisting shareholders.
Under the OFS, State Bank of India (SBI) will sell up to 9.95 crore equity shares, while Amundi India Holding will offload up to 7.14 crore equity shares.
The final OFS size has been adjusted following pre-IPO share sale transactions, under which SBI sold 2.88 crore equity shares, and Amundi India Holding sold 39.19 lakh equity shares, pursuant to share purchase agreements dated 9 July 2026.
Incorporated in 1992, SBI Funds Management Limited (SBIFM) is the investment manager of SBI Mutual Fund and one of India's leading asset management companies. The company operates as a joint venture between State Bank of India and Amundi Asset Management, offering investment solutions across mutual funds, portfolio management services (PMS), alternative investment funds (AIFs), specialised investment funds (SIFs), and advisory services across multiple asset classes.
As of 31 December 2025, SBI Funds Management reported quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) of ₹29.04 lakh crore and served more than 16.05 million investors. The company accounted for around 15.5% of IIndia'smutual fund industry AUM in 2025 and distributes its products through a wide network of branches, intermediaries, and digital investment platforms.
