Muthoot Fincorp Limited has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on August 12, 2026, for its proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO).
According to the DRHP, the ₹3,000 crore IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to ₹3,000 crore, with no offer for sale (OFS) component.

The Company proposes to use the net proceeds from the fresh issue to augment its Tier I capital base and meet future capital requirements, including those arising from the onward lending, growth and expansion of its business, including its digital platform and diversified lending portfolio.
Incorporated in 1997, Muthoot FinCorp Limited is a diversified NBFC with gold loans as its core business, serving underserved households and small businesses across India. Its portfolio includes gold loans, business loans, loans against property, supply chain finance, digital loans, personal loans and housing loans, along with insurance, payments and savings services. As part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, the Company benefits from its established brand and extensive distribution network.
The Company follows a customer-focused “phygital” model, combining its physical branch network with digital platforms. Its customers include retail households, small businesses, traders, farmers, women entrepreneurs, salaried individuals, MSMEs and self-employed individuals. As of March 31, 2026, it operated 5,610 branches and employed 47,323 employees, supported by technology-enabled underwriting, risk management, digital KYC, servicing and collections.
