Molbio Diagnostics Limited debuted on the stock exchanges on Monday, August 17, 2026, with its shares opening at ₹980 apiece on both the NSE and BSE. Against the IPO issue price of ₹807 per share, the stock listed at a premium of 21.44%.

The company’s ₹939.70 crore IPO was open for subscription from August 10 to August 12, 2026, and witnessed strong investor interest. The issue was subscribed 70.26 times by the end of the bidding period.

Founded in 2000, Molbio Diagnostics Limited develops point-of-care (POC) diagnostic solutions that enable faster and more accessible molecular testing for infectious and non-communicable diseases. Its flagship Truenat platform is a portable, battery-powered PCR system designed for resource-limited settings and capable of delivering results in around an hour. As of March 31, 2026, the company offered 43 assays covering 30 diseases, including tuberculosis (TB), COVID-19, HIV, hepatitis B and C, and HPV.

Beyond molecular diagnostics, Molbio has expanded into radiology, digital pathology and breast health screening through its subsidiaries and strategic partnerships. Its Truenat technology is patented across more than 100 countries. The company’s tuberculosis test is also among the rapid molecular diagnostic tests recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the initial detection of TB and rifampicin resistance.
