ITC Limited on Thursday, May 21, 2026, released its consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended 31st March, 2026. The company reported a 72.3% decline in consolidated profit for the quarter. The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹8 per share for the financial year. 

Consolidated revenue from operations for the fourth quarter for ITC Ltd. stood at ₹23,821 crore, a 16.9% increase from ₹20,376 crore in Q4 FY25, driven in part by a significant reclassification of excise duty on cigarettes following a change in the taxation structure effective February 2026. 

Total income for the quarter was ₹24,406.63 crore, up from ₹21,016.62 crore a year ago.

Profit before tax for the quarter came in at ₹7,172.62 crore, compared to ₹6,836.12 crore in Q4 FY25, a growth of around 4.9% year-on-year. 

Net profit from continuing operations for the quarter was ₹5,469.74 crore in Q4 FY26, plummeting 72.39% from ₹19,807 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Total expenses for the quarter stood at ₹17,348.38 crore. Excise duty alone accounted for ₹5,996.80 crore, sharply higher than ₹1,611.36 crore in Q4 FY25, reflecting the mid-year shift from GST Compensation Cess to Central Excise duty on cigarettes. Employee benefits expense for the quarter was ₹1,747.10 crore.

Earnings per share (basic) for continuing operations stood at ₹4.30 in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹4.05 in Q4 FY25.

For the full financial year ended 31st March, 2026, ITC's consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹89,913.33 crore from ₹81,612.78 crore in FY25, posting a growth of around 10%. Total income for the year was ₹92,339.13 crore against ₹84,142.47 crore in FY25.

Net profit from continuing operations for the full year was ₹21,018.15 crore, modestly higher than ₹20,036.47 crore in FY25. Total comprehensive income for the year was ₹20,374.86 crore.

Earnings per share (basic) for continuing operations for the full year stood at ₹16.52, compared to ₹15.78 in FY25.

Total assets as of 31st March, 2026, stood at ₹93,792.38 crore, up from ₹88,090.68 crore a year ago. The company's net operating cash flow for the year was ₹18,464.31 crore.

ITC Declares Final Dividend of ₹8.0 per Share

The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹8.00 per share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval.

Together with the interim dividend of ₹6.50 per share paid on 27th February, 2026, the total dividend for FY26 amounts to ₹14.50 per share, compared to ₹14.35 per share in the previous year.

Segment-Wise Financial Performance

The cigarettes segment remained ITC's largest contributor, posting Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹11,951.72 crore, up 29% against ₹9,228.66 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full year, cigarette revenues stood at ₹40,601 crore, up from ₹35,893.57 crore in FY25. 

The non-cigarette FMCG business, which spans across branded packaged foods, snacks, dairy and beverages, biscuits and cakes, chocolates and confectionery, as well as personal care, education and stationery, safety matches and agarbattis, posted Q4 revenue of ₹6,352.41 crore, up 15.4% from ₹5,503.33 crore in Q4 FY25. Full-year revenues came in at ₹24,321.55 crore against ₹22,015.12 crore.

The agri business segment reported a 14.3% decline in Q4 revenue from ₹3,694.64 crore in Q4 FY25 to ₹3,166.65 crore in Q4 FY26. Full-year revenues were ₹20,787.33 crore, broadly in line with ₹20,163.79 crore in FY25. 

The paperboards, paper and packaging segment reported Q4 revenue of ₹2,228.61 crore against ₹2,188.69 crore in the year-ago period, marking a 1.8% increase, and full-year revenue of ₹8,768.58 crore against ₹8,424.58 crore in FY25. 

The Others segment, which now includes ITC Infotech's IT services, the ITC Grand Central hotel in Mumbai, and fresh food operations, posted Q4 revenue of ₹1,305.26 crore against ₹1,164.99 crore in Q4 FY25. Full-year revenues were ₹5,036.23 crore compared to ₹4,288.11 crore in FY25.
