ICICI Prudential AMC IPO Details

The ICICI Prudential AMC IPO is a book-build issue of ₹10,602.65 crores, consisting entirely of an Offer-for-Sale (OFS) by Prudential Corporation Holdings offloading up to 4.90 crore equity shares. The price band is set between ₹2061 and ₹2165 per share. 

The booking-running lead managers for the IPO are Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, Morgan Stanley India Company Private Limited, BofA Securities India Limited, Axis Capital Limited, CLSA India Private Limited, IIFL Capital Services Limited (formerly known as IIFL Securities Limited), Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, SBI Capital Markets Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, Avendus Capital Private Limited, BNP Paribas, HDFC Bank Limited, JM Financial Limited, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, Nuvama Wealth Management Limited, UBS Securities India Private Limited, while KFin Technologies Limited is the registrar for the issue. 

Use of Proceeds

As the issue is an offer for sale (OFS), the company will not receive any proceeds; they will be allocated directly to the Promoter Selling Shareholder, i.e., Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited.

According to media reports, the Grey Market Premium (GMP) of the ICICI Prudential AMC IPO is reported at ₹355 over the IPO price. 

ICICI Prudential AMC Business Overview 

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (ICICI Pru AMC) is one of India’s leading and oldest asset management companies. As of September 30, 2025, the company managed total mutual fund assets of ₹10,147.6 billion on a quarterly average basis, making it the largest asset manager in India in terms of active mutual fund QAAUM, with a market share of 13.3% (Source: CRISIL Report).  

In the same period, the fund house served a client base of 15.5 million investors with a broad portfolio of 143 mutual fund schemes, including 44 equity and equity-oriented, 20 debt, 61 passive, 15 domestic fund-of-funds (FoFs), and select liquid, overnight, and arbitrage products.
