Hindalco Q4 FY26 Results: Q4 Net Profit Falls 51%, Declares ₹5 Dividend

Hindalco Industries Limited, the Aditya Birla Group's metals flagship, released its Q4 and full-year FY26 results on May 22, 2026. The company delivered record consolidated revenue and EBITDA for both the quarter and the full year, while the board recommended a dividend of ₹5 per share for FY26.

Hindalco posted quarterly revenue of ₹78,133 crore in Q4 FY2, a sharp rise of 20% year-on-year from ₹64,890 crore in Q4 FY25. EBITDA came in at an all-time high of ₹11,197 crore, up 9% over the same quarter last year. 

PAT for the quarter was ₹2,597 crore, declining 50.85% from ₹5,284 crore in the year-ago period. Basic EPS for the quarter stood at ₹11.69 per share, against ₹23.80 in Q4 FY25.

For the full year FY26, Hindalco recorded revenue of ₹2,74,944 crore, up 15% from ₹2,38,496 crore in FY25. EBITDA reached an all-time high of ₹38,097 crore, compared to ₹35,496 crore in the prior year. 

Full-year PAT was ₹13,391 crore, down 16.3% from ₹16,002 crore in FY25, impacted by one-time exceptional items related to the Oswego disruption. Basic EPS for FY26 stood at ₹60.31 per share, against ₹72.05 in FY25.

Hindalco announces a dividend of ₹5 per equity share

The board of directors has recommended a dividend of ₹5 per share on a face value of ₹1 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.

Segment Q4 Financial Performance

Novelis, Hindalco's global subsidiary, reported revenue of $4,787 million in Q4 FY26, up 4% year-on-year, driven by higher metal prices. Adjusted EBITDA was $459 million, down 3%, reflecting the impact of lower shipment volumes due to the Oswego disruption and tariff headwinds. 

In Aluminium Upstream, revenue grew 11% to ₹11,418 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹10,311 crore in Q4 FY25. EBITDA hit a record ₹5,448 crore, up 13%, with EBITDA per tonne rising 4%.

Aluminium Downstream posted revenue of ₹4,867 crore in Q4 FY26, up 35% from ₹3,595 crore in Q4 FY25, with shipments rising 18% to 124 KT. EBITDA was a record ₹255 crore, up 16%.

In Copper, revenue surged 52% from ₹14,565 crore in Q4 FY25 to ₹22,156 crore in Q4 FY26. EBITDA hit a record ₹907 crore, up 48%, driven by strong operational performance and higher realisation in by-products such as sulphuric acid.
