The ₹1,000.00 Hero Motors IPO is set to open for public subscription on September 16, 2026. According to the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP), the book-built issue comprises a fresh issue of 7.14 crore equity shares aggregating up to ₹600.00 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 4.76 crore equity shares worth ₹400.00 crore by its existing shareholders.
The IPO will remain open until September 18, 2026. The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on September 21, 2026, and the shares are tentatively scheduled to be listed on the BSE and NSE on September 23, 2026.

The company's operations are divided into two business segments: Powertrain Solutions and Alloys & Metallics (A&M). Its Powertrain Solutions business includes Gears & Transmissions for automotive and mobility applications, and Bike Powertrain focused on global e-bike manufacturers.
