Cipla Q4 FY26 Results: Profit Plunges 55% YoY to ₹554 Crore; Board Announces Dividend of ₹13

Pharmaceutical major Cipla has reported its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, with consolidated net profit declining 55% year-on-year during the fourth quarter. Despite the decline in quarterly profitability, the company announced a final dividend of ₹13 per equity share for FY26.

Cipla reported revenue from operations of ₹6,541 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹6,729 crore in Q4 FY25. Total income for the reported quarter stood at ₹6,689 crore as against ₹7,019 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company posted a net profit of ₹554.6 crore, down 55% from ₹1,214 crore reported in Q4 FY25. The company’s EBITDA fell 38% year-on-year to ₹955 crore in Q4, down from ₹1,537.6 crore in the same period last year, with the EBITDA margin narrowing to 14.6% from 22.8%.

Profit before tax (PBT) came in at ₹707 crore during Q4 FY26, compared to ₹1,504 crore in Q4 FY25.

Total expenses during the quarter stood at ₹5,982 crore, compared to ₹ 5,514.85 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit expenses rose to ₹1,414 crore, while depreciation, impairment and amortisation expenses increased to ₹383 crore.

Earnings per share (EPS) for Q4 FY26 stood at ₹6.87 on a basic basis and ₹6.86 on a diluted basis.

For the full financial year ended March 31, 2026, Cipla reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹28,163 crore, compared to ₹27,548 crore in FY25.

Net profit for FY26 stood at ₹3,862 crore, lower than the ₹5,269 crore reported in FY25. Profit attributable to the parent's owners came in at ₹3,879 crore for the year.

Profit before tax for FY26 stood at ₹5,224 crore, while total comprehensive income for the year came in at ₹4,549 crore.

The company reported FY26 basic earnings per share of ₹48.03, compared to ₹65.29 in FY25.

Cipla’s consolidated balance sheet remained strong, with total assets rising to ₹42,496 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared to ₹37,387 crore a year earlier.

Cipla Declares Dividend of ₹13 per Share

The Board of Directors of the Company also recommended a final dividend of ₹ 13 per equity share for the financial year ended 31st March, 2026.
