The two-wheeler major Bajaj Auto has closed FY26 with all-time high results across volumes, revenue and profitability. The board met on 6 May 2026 and approved audited results for Q4 and the full financial year ended 31 March 2026.

On a standalone basis, Q4 FY26 revenue from operations came in at ₹16,006 crore, up 32% year-on-year, driven by record quarterly volumes of 13.71 lakh units, a favourable USD/INR realisation, and a richer product mix.

EBITDA grew 36% YoY to ₹3,323 crore, with a margin at 20.8%, up 60 basis points over the same quarter last year and flat sequentially despite cost pressures.

Profit after tax (PAT)  hit ₹2,746 crore, up 34% YoY, the highest ever for any single quarter. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at ₹98.3.

For the full year FY26, revenue from operations reached ₹58,732 crore, up 17% YoY. EBITDA rose 19% to ₹12,019 crore with margin expanding 30 basis points to 20.5%.

Profit after tax for the year was ₹9,825 crore, up 21% YoY. Diluted EPS for the full year came in at ₹351.5, up from ₹291.5 in FY25. Total volumes for the year crossed 51.17 lakh units, up 10% YoY, the highest in the company's history, surpassing the previous peak of FY19.

On a consolidated basis, FY26 revenue stood at ₹62,905 crore, up 23% YoY, and consolidated profit after tax was ₹10,744 crore, up 47% YoY, aided by the consolidation of KTM AG and its subsidiaries following the acquisition of a controlling stake in November 2025.

Bajaj Auto Announces a Dividend of ₹150

The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹150 per equity share, representing 1500% of the face value of ₹10 per share, for the financial year ended 31 March 2026.

Share Buyback

The board has also approved a share buyback at ₹12,000 per share, with a total consideration of up to ₹5,633 crore.

The buyback will be conducted via the tender offer route and is subject to shareholder approval. The buyback price of ₹12,000 represents a 16% premium to the current market price.

Other Key Highlights

Volumes were broad-based, with domestic two-wheelers up 24% YoY to 6.22 lakh units and domestic commercial vehicles up 24% to 1.39 lakh units in Q4.

Export of two-wheelers grew 23% to 5.45 lakh units, while export of commercial vehicles jumped 39% to 65,435 units. For the full year, export volumes crossed 22.50 lakh units, up 21% YoY.

The KTM-Triumph portfolio delivered its best-ever year with global revenue of ₹5,000 crore, up 40% YoY, reaching over 2.25 lakh riders.

The Chetak electric scooter crossed the 1 lakh retail milestone in Q4 alone, with full-year EV revenues exceeding ₹4,000 crore.

Commercial vehicles posted a landmark year, crossing the 8 lakh unit mark for the first time, with the company retaining leadership in the ICE segment while rapidly scaling its electric three-wheeler franchise.

Free cash flow for the year exceeded ₹8,000 crore, up 30% YoY, leaving the balance sheet with surplus funds of over ₹18,000 crore.

Bajaj Auto Credit Limited, the financing subsidiary, saw AUM nearly double to ₹18,835 crore, with profit after tax surging over 11x to ₹665 crore and a return on equity of 23% for FY26.

Overall, FY26 was a landmark year for Bajaj Auto by every measure: record volumes, revenues, profits, and cash generation. The 100% PAT payout through dividends and buyback reflects management's confidence in the business and the strength of its balance sheet. With the KTM integration underway, Chetak scaling up, and Bajaj Auto Credit gaining rapid momentum, the company enters FY27 with a broader, more diversified platform than at any point in its history.
