Terai Tea Co

Terai Tea Company Ltd. is an India-based tea manufacturing company, which is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of tea and trading in agricultural merchandise. The Company has various units under its fold, including Bagdogra Tea Estate, CTC Tea Factory (Terai Tea Factory Unit) and CTC Tea Factory Unit (Adhikari Tea Factory Unit). Bagdogra Tea Estate is a tea garden in Terai Region of North Bengal, approximately 15 kilometers (km). The total area under the plantation is approximately 614.86 acres and it produces 3000,000 kilograms (kg) of tea annually out of its own leaves and brought tea leaves. The Company has set up Terai Tea Factory Unit to produce CTC tea from the green leaf purchased from different suppliers. The unit produces 2000,000 kg of tea annually. Adhikari Tea Factory Unit has a present installed capacity of 2500,000 kg of CTC tea per annum. The unit is at present running at its optimum capacity.;
