Petronet LNG Limited is a fast-growing joint venture company in the Indian energy sector, formed by the Government of India and leading oil players. Its vision is to serve as a key national energy provider by utilizing its unique position in the LNG value chain and maintaining an international presence. A core part of its mission is to create and manage world-class LNG infrastructure while pursuing synergetic business growth opportunities for its stakeholders. The company established and operates the country's pioneering LNG receiving and regasification terminal in Dahej, Gujarat, along with another important facility in Kochi, Kerala. It is promoted by four major public sector undertakings: Bharat Petroleum, GAIL, Indian Oil, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, which are also its partners. The company plays a crucial role in India's energy landscape, handling approximately 74% of the nation's LNG imports and providing 34% of its gas supplies.;
