Established in 1984, Makers Laboratories Limited is a pharmaceutical firm that manufactures and markets around 200 different generic drug formulations. The company is strategically expanding its operations by developing ophthalmic eye drops specifically for export to Rest of the World (ROW) markets. Currently, its primary business is concentrated on India's highly competitive generic medicine market, where its products are mainly used by doctors, nursing homes, and hospitals. It recently completed the upgradation and capacity enhancement of its liquid injectable manufacturing facility at Naroda, Ahmedabad to serve global markets. To facilitate this global outreach, the company is in the process of obtaining product registrations from various ROW countries to begin manufacturing for these new markets. This expansion is supported by a significant financial turnaround, posting a net profit of ₹464.11 lacs compared to a net loss in the previous year.;
