Gaekwar Mills Ltd. was engaged in the business of manufacturing textiles, but its production unit was declared sick and activities were halted due to ongoing labour unrest. A sanctioned revival scheme directs the company to establish a modern textile unit on 40% of its land while using the rest for real estate development. The company's business has consequently shifted to infrastructure, with a key focus on the commercial development of its land situated in Bilimora, Gujarat. It believes this land development presents a good opportunity, expecting to attract buyers desiring properties with a sea view or cool breeze. Currently, the company is in the process of taking necessary approvals from the Municipal Corporation and other Government departments. However, the company cannot start its new business until the legal cases filed by its workers in the High Court are resolved.;
