Deccan Cements Limited is an Indian public company engaged in manufacturing and selling cement and also generating power from its own hydel and wind sources. The CSR Committee has formulated a CSR Policy indicating the areas in which activities are to be undertaken. Through this policy, the company undertakes activities in education, safe drinking water, and preventive healthcare to benefit the community at large. Its business operates in a single product segment, offering generic cement with small variations such as OPC, PPC, and SRC. To enhance sustainability, it has installed a 7.00 MW Waste Heat Recovery power plant to generate energy from waste heat. For the 2023-24 financial year, the company increased its cement sales volume by about 6.98%, selling 19.17 lakh metric tonnes.;
