Chaman Metallics Limited is an India-based company, which is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of direct reduced iron i.e., sponge iron. Through its sponge iron business, the Company cater to the metallic requirements of steel producers in selected geographies. Its sponge iron is mainly used as a raw material for making steel in electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces. Its products include sponge iron, ferro alloys, mild steel (MS) ingot, re-rolled products & spheroidal graphite cast iron (SGCI) insert, power and cast iron. Its manufacturing unit is based at Chandrapur, Maharashtra and is spread across an area of around 63 acres of land. It has an installed capacity of approximately 72,000 metric tons (MT) for production of sponge iron. Its manufacturing facility is equipped with requisite technology and infrastructure, including machineries, testing laboratory other handling equipment to facilitate smooth manufacturing process.;
